Who is Jesus?
I would like to study and apply the truth of our identity is in Christ. I belief that could prove to be a deep and profound and potentially life transformative journey.
I decided to begin with a consideration of who is Jesus.
Jesus is the eternal Son of God, equal with God, and with authority from the Father. John10:30-33 Matthew 16:15-16
Jesus took on human flesh in order to be our Savior. Jesus is fully man and fully God. Colossians 2:9
As I review the scriptures I will share thoughts regarding how Jesus is described.

Jesus is sure of His identity. When He was here on earth He confidently proclaimed who He is. He was clear about His calling and purpose.
"Then they all said, 'Are You then the Son of God?' So He said to them, 'You rightly say that I am'" (Luke 22:70). "Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth'" (Matthew 28:18).
May we have a deeper appreciation for the attributes of Jesus and a greater reverence for Him.
As we are grounded in faith and respect for our Lord and Savior I desire to be rooted firmly in my true identity in Christ.
