Never Alone
Never alone
Jesus promised to be with us always.
“teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.””
Matthew 28:20 NASB1995

Honestly, there are times when this lofty principle from the Lord is difficult to grasp.
Wounds in our souls make it hard to believe. The passage of time or unkind interactions or other painful circumstances can make us feel rejected abandoned unworthy and isolated. We can even feel worthless.
When these terrible thoughts and feelings arise and the enemy six to use them to defeat us we must fight back in the truth and authority of God‘s word and worship in order to be victorious.
There can be numerous struggles that assault us. We can overcome by refuting lies with the truth found in God’s word.
In our humanity we have a longing to belong
“A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows, Is God in His holy habitation. God makes a home for the lonely; He leads out the prisoners into prosperity, Only the rebellious dwell in a parched land.”
Psalms 68:5-6 NASB1995

Even if we are abandoned by her own parents God will take care of us.
“For my father and my mother have forsaken me, But the Lord will take me up.”
Psalms 27:10 NASB1995

All of us have been lost
“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.””
Luke 19:10 NASB1995

Some of us have been abandoned or rejected
“You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, And called from its remotest parts And said to you, ‘You are My servant, I have chosen you and not rejected you. Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”
Isaiah 41:9-10 NASB1995

We may feel we have no value or purpose. This is a wicked lie that the enemy of our souls can use to incapacitate us. I remember that someone once reminded me that God felt we are of such value that Jesus thought it was worth dying for us.
“knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.”
1 Peter 1:18-19 NASB1995

He has redeemed us, called us His own. We belong to Him and can be with Him
It’s an amazingly healing truth that even if all others reject us the Lord has chosen us. “just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,”
Ephesians 1:4-5 NASB1995

There isn’t anywhere that we could go that God‘s presence wouldn’t be with us. He knows everything about us and was even aware of us before we were fully formed. Psalm 139.
Satan tells me and he tells you a terrible lie when he insinuates that God is not with us and he truly doesn’t care about us. It is a false accusation against God‘s character and it’s six Travis his sense of being loved and being whole. Numerous times in the scripture we are promised that he will NEVER for sake us. Hebrews 13:6 and other verses that have been mentioned previously. For the sake of the well-being of our souls and for the sake of God‘s honor we must fight against that horrible lie and replace it with the truth that the text gods heart of love and noble character.
We must apply the Scriptures and engage in worship.
Lives like you’re loved
I am not alone
We are never alone
