Glorious Grace - God is Generous
“to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding,”
Ephesians 1:6-8 NIV

God is not a stingy master who gives grudgingly. His gifts are not mediocre. The grace he gives is glorious. We do not need to pay for it or earn it. God freely gives it. And he does not merely dispense it in a miserly fashion giving only driblets. Rather, God lavishes it upon us. This passage reminds us of the extravagant love of God in granting our redemption.
Some words that I particularly liked in this passage include:
*Glorious - “delightful, wonderful. completely enjoyable; splendid, brilliantly beautiful, worthy of renown”
*Redemption - the state of being redeemed, atoning for sin, rescued
*Freely -without restriction or interference. In copious or generous amounts
